I just bought a MIM Fender Jazz bass and the neck pickup doesn’t work, its brand new straight from the factory and it doesn’t work.
HELP?
I already know the chords, but I don’t know the exact fingering for the guitar solo. So if anyone knows the tab, or knows where I can find it that would be great! Thanks!
I have a one year anniversary coming up and I thought I would write a song. I figured I would learn the chords and the beat I want before working on the lyrics. I just need something easy that sounds good.
I want to give my guitar a heavy metal sound so I can play songs from bands like
-Slayer
-Metallica
-Megadeth
But on my cheap fender i can’t get my guitar to sound like anything other than a tin can. (Even with max distortion it sounds too high pitched and very whiny. Its hard to explain.) Any reccommendations?

On some guitar tabs I saw that there is a key above some of them (not literally a key). One of them has a slash and says it represents slide up or down. What does it mean slide up or down??

I accidentally backed into this car, it’s a black BMW (not sure which model). Now there’s a small dent in the fender (area above the front left wheel of the car). The dent is about 3-4inches in diameter, and it’s quite shallow.
Would the shop be able to "undent" it, or fill it in and fix it somehow? or will the entire fender have to be replaced? If it is taken to a cheap repair place (not the dealership), how much would it cost to be fixed?

I hit a mercedes today going about 4 miles per hour and the screw from my licence plate made a small hole in th back fender and around the hole is a dent which is a little smaller than a coaster. Any idea how much that would cost to repair?

I have to paint a new fender for a 2004 GMC Sierra Half ton pickup. How much paint should I get? I plan to scuff sand the EDP coat then use a primer? Then Base coat then clear coat. I plan to use DuPont Chroma Base. The color of the paint is pewter. What color primer should I use?
How would you play an open chords with barre chords? For example, two people are playing guitar together how would one person play open chords while the other plays barre chords?
