Can i go to youtube to learn new guitar notes and chords?
So i just started playing guitar and i know the G chord, G7 chord, and the C chord, and i was wondering if it would be alright to go to youtube and learn more stuff because im eager to learn, and i don’t want to wait for my guitar teacher to teach me, because the next time i see him is on wednesday. But i dont want to develop bad habits, so would it be a good idea to use youtube to learn new guitar notes and chords?

Of course
I recommend guitarpondcom or Marty Schwartz (I think that’s right…)
And then there’s Good Riddance by Green Day, which uses G, Cadd9, and Dsus4 – play the 320033 G, play that for two measures, switch to Cadd9 which only switches your first two fingers over one fret each (x32033), and then Dsus4 which is basically switching over again (xx0233). There’s also an E minor but you don’t really need that. What I did as a beginner was search up songs I liked. If I could play it, I would try to perfect it. If I couldn’t, I went to a different one until I got better.
Of course! I started to learn on youtube but it wasn’t that helpful so I learn it on a website below
there is more than 50 different ways to learn guitar, videos, ebooks and PDF’s
really helpfull
