I have a Fender Statocaster and a Roland Micro Cube amp which has an acoustic setting on it which sounds like a acoustic but not excactly. I was wondering if getting an acoustic guitar would be worth it when I could just switch my amp to acoustic mode. Thanks.

I’m planning on getting my fiance an acoustic guitar, but I’m not sure which kind is the best to get him. Any suggestions? By the way he’s still kind of a novice.

mostly play rock/metal on my electric guitar but i am really into indie-acoustic stuff, and my telecaster does not quite give me the sound i am looking for. i am looking for a warm sounding, good for indie and "lighter music" such as bands islands, minus the bear, iron and wine, the shins are just a few examples. Thanks
also what type of wood should i be looking at for this type of sound?
thanks!

I want to learn how to play a guitar, but i don’t want to buy a really expensive one or really cheap one. Where can I buy an acoustic guitar for beginners and how much would it cost?
And is it hard to play? I already play the violin and piano.
How long do you think it would take to be ok at it? Do you think being self-taught would be ok?

The acoustic guitar I just received today has 18 frets…is that normal, and know its not a classical, it has steel strings. I hope this isn’t a scale-guitar if you know what I mean. Also how many frets do different types of guitars usually have? Sorry, couldn’t find this here, or on the internet quickly…don’t have a lot of time.

I have 0 to spend on an acoustic guitar but if absolutely necessary I will spend 0. I’m not a professional and just want to play something reliable and pretty decent. I DO NOT WANT A DREADNOUGHT! I prefer a slightly smaller grand concert type guitar but not a ukulele either.

What are the differences between playing an acoustic guitar and an electric one? Is one harder to learn/play than the other? What are some good brands for guitars?

I’m going off to college and I’m selling my electric guitar for an acoustic.
I really want a smallish acoustic with a thin body, but I still want it to sound good. I also don’t want it to be too expensive since I’m not anticipating getting a ton of money from my electric. Any suggestions?

I’ve seen people play acoustic guitars with picks and I don’t even know where to get guitars picks from. I like my guitar as it is but I also like things that are the color black and I like to be artistic, that’s why most of my folders have drawings on them xD, is it possible to spray paint it? And what is an easy way to learn to play songs?

I’m interested in getting an acoustic guitar, and I have no guitar experience at all. I was wondering what guitar brands I should look for, and which ones that would be suitable for guitar newbies. I would be using this guitar to play alot of Beatles music.
Thanks!
