I play in the praise band at my school, you guessed it, on the keyboard. The only music I have is the guitar chords. Before you say it, I already know how to play guitar chords on piano. That isn’t my problem. My problem is that it just sounds like I’m play guitar chords, and it’s sounds stupid and boring.
Is there any easy way to jazz it up a bit to where it sounds like a song? And no, I cannot get the sheet music for most of the songs.
I am a beginner and i didn’t have any guitar lessons (but i have a guitar) my friends knows how to play the guitar i memorized how to play some music parts from them everybody says that reading guitar tabs is easy so if you know sites that has ARTICLES or VEDIOES that says how to PLAY GUITAR TABS or even YOU CAN EXPLAIN IT TO ME to me so PLEASE TEEEEEEELL MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

What features should I look for in my first guitarand what models would be good for a beginner? Okay, so I was learning how to play guitar with a book, and it’s a really good book, but then I got to the part about guitar tab. I am so lost. The book doesn’t do a good job of explaining, so could anyone out there explain it or give me a link to an explanation?

So if a D7 chord is shown in a how to play guitar book, and the three fingers seem to be placed to the right on strings 5,6,and 7, would you switch it around and have your fingers placed on strings 1, 2, and 3 and vice versa. Because all of the chords are confusing me.
