Ok so this might sound stupid but me and my neighbor switched necks on our guitars. I got a fender neck and put it on my epiphone les paul. It looks pretty cool but I wanted to know if it would be worth anything.
I would like to know if I can use fender string-fender bullets-on my gibson-les paul guitar?
I’ve been playing about a year now and I’m ready to hang up my Fender Starcaster strat starter kit and get either a Fender Stratocaster or a Epiphone Les Paul Special II. I like the sound the Gibson Les Paul makes (but its 600 dollars so I’ll settle for Epiphone) and I’m used to Fender and I’ve heard the Stratocasters are great.
Is it possible to change or is there a difference in the frets. Does the fender have more frets? If I know a lot of songs on a fender would I just be able to automatically play them on a les Paul when I get one when I get good at it?
I already have a Fender Squire.
I still want to know how good it is as compared to others.
And also 1 more thing,
I think i am going to change my guitar, so i should buy a Gibson Les Paul or BC Rich Warlock or some other like Fender Stratocaster?
I think i really want a telecaster. I have a squire strat right now. and a epiphone les paul. ive been playing around with a couple teles and i like em. i like alot of blues and old rock so i think its down my ally. Do you think i should get the fender tele plus or is there another moddle thats better. also how diffrent is a tele from a strat?
What is a good electric guitar that costs less than 500$?

I’m writing a song in tribute to Les Paul, and I’m not sure whether the Gibson Les Paul was the first electric guitar, or simply the first solid-body electric guitar. Please could somebody clear that up for me?
I wanna get an electric guitar and start learning. I had my eyes on a Les Paul Special II, but im also considering Fender especially cuz i like grunge, alt metal. I want a guitar that makes those kinds of sick sounds maybe some nu metal too. My budget is between 200 – 300; and can go a teeny bit higher. What do you recommend?
So I definitly want to buy the pack. The electric guitar, case and aomplifier. I am willing to spend from 200 to 250$$$ Is the Epiphone Les Paul Special II Player Pack a good set or no? Is their anything better for the same price or a little more money. What better than that, that is the same price or a little bit more about 50 bucks or so? Or is the Epiphone Les Paul Special II Player Pack a good starter set?
I’m looking into buying my first electric guitar soon, and I’m not sure what to get. Ever since I first started playing guitar, I’ve liked the classic Gibson Les Paul, but some of my friends told me that’s not the best idea for a first guitar. So what should I get? Also, what kind of amp should I get to go with it?
P.S. I really want a guitar with a whammy bar if that helps narrow the choices down any.
My boyfriend wants an electric guitar. I’m hoping to find a beautiful blue one that has nice sound and is good to learn on, that will grow with him, in terms of him getting better. He is a beginner, but I don’t want to buy him a cheapo crappo guitar. I’d like to spend somewhere between 0 and 0. I’ve been looking at some more in the 0 range, but should probably not spend that much. Any suggestions?
I was looking at http://www.guitarcenter.com/Epiphone-Les-Paul-Standard-Plus-Top-Electric-Guitar-518341-i1149990.gc that one because people seemed to really like it but that’s where i got the 0 from. The blue one is gourg and I’ve read it’s a great guitar for the price. What would be a step or two down from that?
