In other words, if I tab out a guitar part to a John Mayer song (for example), can I legally make money by selling the tab to people who ask for it? The tab would be my own work and would not be available anywhere else.

I’m coming into some money soon and I was wondering what kind of Fender should I buy. (Also what kind of Gibson for my sister).
Or should I keep what I have? A "Starcaster".
And what about an amp? I want something with alot of distortion and high quality sound.
So yeah, I just need some of your opinions. Thanks guys.
pEaCe.
P.S. One additional question; Can an good amp make a crapy guitar sound "OMGAWESOME"?

Hey my first guitar was a fender Squire "Bullet Strat" and now that i’m older i realize how retarded they are. I want to make a little money off it by selling it to a kid who’s just starting that can actually use it. Would it be worth it to buy new Seymour Duncan hot rails pickups and a new bridge if i sold it online? I paid nothing for the guitar so i’ll be happy if i get just a little more than i paid for all the extras. Any thoughts?

I am buying a brand new Fender Classic Series ’50s Stratocaster, and I am now in the market for a new amp. I don’t want to spend more than 300 on it, and even that would be painful cause my money is short. Maybe a tube amp; something that can give me a beautiful clean sound, but can handle distortion when needed.
Thank you!

I want to play the electric guitar, and I need to BUY a guitar first. I want to buy a package. I’m not trying to be cheap or anything, but I can’t afford a whole lot, and if I end up not liking it, I don’t want to be out a lot of money. About 0 is my maximum on an ELECTRIC GUITAR PACKAGE. Also, for people who play now, is it enjoyable? Is it hard to learn? Are lessons a must or did you teach yourself? Please answer. All help is appreciated.

Is their anything better for the same price or a little more money. What better than that, that is the same price or a little bit more about 50 bucks or so? Or is the Epiphone Les Paul Special II Player Pack a good starter set?

Does anything differ? Sound Quality maybe? My reason for asking is i’ve been playing bass guitar for a few years and I’m going to play electric guitar once I get my new Fender. I already have a bass amp and don’t want to spend too much more money. Would my Fender sound good with my bass amp and an electric guitar cabinet hooked up to it? Thanks in advance.

I’m going off to college and I’m selling my electric guitar for an acoustic.
I really want a smallish acoustic with a thin body, but I still want it to sound good. I also don’t want it to be too expensive since I’m not anticipating getting a ton of money from my electric. Any suggestions?
